¹⁸ If a boil shows up on someone’s skin, and the boil goes away ¹⁹ and is replaced by a swollen white or a reddish-white spot, then he must point this out to the priest. ²⁰ The priest will check; and if the affected area appears to go deep beneath the skin and the hairs on it have turned white, then the priest will pronounce the person unclean. It is a case of serious skin disease that started out as a boil.
